Economic Development

Duquesne Light Company: Community Impact Grant

Community Impact Grants (CIG) provides microgrants of up to $10,000 to small nonprofits serving the Pittsburgh region, particularly those that may have otherwise been left out of traditional funding streams due to their sizes. Since 2021, CIG has awarded more than $1 million to more than 130 organizations addressing needs like food insecurity, housing, education, and climate resilience.

Entergy: Greening America’s Most Iconic Party - Throw me something recyclable, mister!

By teaming up with Grounds Krewe, Entergy and its employees are helping to preserve the spirit of Mardi Gras while reducing the environmental impact on our community.  With support from Entergy, Grounds Krewe recycles 50,000 pounds of waste annually.
