COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (September 04, 2025) — The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Board of Directors has presented TXNM Energy Executive Chair Pat Vincent-Collawn with the Thomas A. Edison Legacy Award in recognition of her decades of leadership shaping industry strategy and policy priorities that have strengthened the energy grid and delivered tremendous benefits to customers across the country. The award was presented during EEI’s Fall Board of Directors and Chief Executives Meeting.
Among her many accomplishments, Vincent-Collawn served as EEI’s interim President and CEO from October 2024 through June 2025 and is one of the longest-serving directors on the EEI Board. She is a leading industry voice who has worked to advance supportive public policies at every level of government.

Vincent-Collawn serves on the EEI Board and on the EEI Executive Committee, and was the first woman elected to chair EEI, which she did from June 2017 to June 2018. Vincent-Collawn was presented with the EEI Distinguished Leadership Award in September 2019.
Before becoming TXNM Energy’s Executive Chair in July 2025, Vincent-Collawn served as the company’s President and CEO from 2010 to 2025, and also as Chair beginning in January 2012. She joined TXNM Energy—then PNM Resources—in 2007 as Utilities President and subsequently was named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2008.
Before joining PNM Resources, she served as President and CEO of Public Service Company of Colorado, a subsidiary of Xcel Energy. Before that, she served as Xcel Energy’s President of Customer and Field Operations, overseeing transmission and distribution operations as well as customer service across 10 states. Vincent-Collawn also held management positions with Arizona Public Service, and outside the energy industry with Price Waterhouse and Quaker Oats.
Vincent-Collawn currently serves on the boards of Cheniere Energy and Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited. She previously served as chair of the Electric Power Research Institute. Internationally, she is current Chair, North America for the World Energy Council, and she co-chaired the B20 Italy 2021 Energy & Resource Efficiency Task Force, highlighting her global influence in the energy industry.
Vincent-Collawn holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Drake University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
